Nice bike. Definitely needs a split seat.

I was at the Vancouver MC show yesterday as well. The new VFR doesn't look as good in person as I thought it would. That Desmo was pretty nice though

I haven't seen a flake of snow all year either (Victoria).

Thats a Scotts stabilizer. Not planning the conversion. The banana seat is great for the girl and my bad back. Its one of the reasons I was looking at f4i's initially.

Also intend on lots of trips back to the interior and up north so a big seat = good. I was pretty close to picking up an interceptor or even a VStorm to do the long hauls. The F4i is a good compromise for me.

The show was good. I really liked the VFR. It would have been nice to sit on it. I actually liked it more in person.

I sold my interceptor (86) for the f4i. I find the f4i actually much more comfortable than the interceptor. Sure the newer ones are much better though.
