Finally I went and took some new pics of my bike... just took these this afternoon This is my pride and joy... red/black 2004 F4i. I bought it new in mid October '04. Not much in the way of mods, just the Hindle slip-on, Ohlins steering damper, and a Sportec mirror windscreen. Also just got my new rear tire on yesterday and all new EBC HH brake pads front and rear (and those things got some bite!). I've still got alot of other stuff I want to do, just moving along slowly as I get extra spending $$ to do stuff

YO that's the same bike I got even the same color.
I got mine last year also on may but I only have 600 miles on it.
I dont get to ride much since I have 3 kids and I only live like 5 minutes from work.
I love my bike also I'll get some pictures too.

 

Thanks!! Yea I love the sound of the Hindle. Seems like not too many people have it either.... in exhaust threads I'm usually the only one with a Hindle. I love it though.... it's not crazy loud, but louder than stock and much deeper. Has a real nice tone to it

Sweet pics -- still looks good for all the miles. I usually get around 12K miles a year on a bike.

 

Those are some great photos!! Hope the storm didn't get you. Just bout the wife an '04 F4i red/blk and she loves it. I am still looking for one. Those are the kind of miles I like to see in a year's time (lots of 'em)!!!

 

Very nice bike. I love that color. Thats the red I wanted but, the 05's only the RR has the scheme. I like the way that Ohlins looks, god I need a dampner bad[:@]

Nice looking bike chief. I've got the same color, I think it's the best they ever made on the F4i.

Tell me though, what did you do for an undertail? Did you just cut off part of the stock piece? I'd like to do something to mine, but I want to keep the turn signals where they are and don't want to relocate the seat lock. How'd you do it?

But yea I just took the Dremel to it and sliced the stock mudflap off, then rounded and smoothed out the edge where I cut it to try and blend it in a little bit so it didn't look like total crap. I think it turned out fairly well though... actually kinda suprised myself, hahah
