Finished my bike today. Still have a few minor details to finalize, but here is one pic.

The color scheme is a little similar to older ones, but I did a few twists. Also, the stripes are all painted, not stickers.

My digital camera battery is dead, but I iwll post up later with some more pics of some cool stuff we did.

 

Looks really good. I like the brake rotors. What kinda are they?

 

I did the EBC rotors. I really like them. Went with those with Galfer pads and Galfer SS lines.

 

whoa nice paint job. I was really debating whether to paint my bike a solid color, or paint it a solid color with the original decals on it to add a little design at least.

Yours looks good. Are you telling me everything is painted on? Even the Honda wings on the tank and the CBR letters? Or did you just painton the large wings on the lower fairings.

 

I would like to have painted on the winds and lettering, but those are stickers. The large stripes that are normally stickers on the stock bike are painted on. We did the burgandy base coat, mocked the fairings and tank up to keep the lines right, and then used line tape to lay the stripes out.

I liked the similar scheme on the 04, but went with a little different color.

I am excited to get the digital camera up to show some other things we did. On my rear hugger, we added a 600 F4i sticker over the chain guard that looks really good, added a Honda logo between the headlights, and then on the shroud in front of the radiator, we did that in silver and added a Honda logo there too. You never really see it, but it is a nice detail.
