Default New Member- Wanted to Say Hi!

Hey Everyone,

My name is Rob and I am in the hunt for an F4i. I really want a Triumph Street Triple R, but can't afford one just yet. Until that time I have decided upon and F4i to tide me over.

I have done a lot of research and it seems like this is the best choice for my needs.

You come to the right place. You can't go wrong with the F4i. When you find one you like post it up on here and get some opinions about the price and condition of the bike.

Yeah, a little too aggressive and uncomfy for long rides though.

I had all but picked up my Street Triple R from the dealer when my girlfriend broke up with me. Since we wouldn't be living together (sharing expenses etc) I couldn't afford it out on my own. Damn student debt lol!

Thanks! It is much appreciated. My brother is also looking at getting one.

Is there certain mileage we should avoid?

a lot.

no really, if the price is within your budget and you feel its fair and its in good condition, get it. not much more simple than that.

Welcome aboard. Yeah, those Speed Triples are nice looking but I'll bet you'll be pretty happy w/ an F4i.

As for you mileage question, as long as the bike has been taken care of, higher mileage isn't a problem. Forum member "Thirdgenlxi" had well over 100K b/f having to do any major engine work.

Welcome Rob.

New F4i owner myself. I purchased it off of Craigs List and couldnt be happier. I wasnt actually seeking a F4i but here i am I've ridden 2500 miles in the first 30 days and no trips longer than 100 miles. Love it!

I think the guy heard the CCTL going out and assumed or was misinformed it may be something worse cause he sold it to me for $2600 and it had just clicked 10k miles.

I replaced the CCTL and she runs like a sewing machine

I'm going riding now

Mitch
