new member, new issue with f4i

Going through a similar deal. I bought my bike as a non running project. Got it 90% reassembled, tried to start it, nothing. I didn't have the upper fairing attached and thus did not have the tip sensor between the headlights attached. Fuel pump wouldn't prime. Once I connected that, she fired right up. Thing of beauty.

This may sound dumb - but if you are in gear - is your kickstand down...?

no its in neutral. i tried it with the kickstand up and down, i reconnected the headlights and the sensor in the middle....stil not having any luck and im having a hard time thinkin of anything else to check. especially since everythin was fine pre tear down in november.

bike won't start without the headlight harness plugged in since the wiring bank angle sensor is within that cluster. the sensor is located in the upper cowl, on the top of where the headlight connects to the cowl.
plug the headlight assembly with the bank angle sensor back in and it will start.

nothing to worry about at this point ok?

well, its still not priming..i cant figure it out so its goin to a dealer
