new member and have a quick question

hey guys, im a new member and have a quick question. how do you install the upper stay bracket to the bike, do you have to take off the triple trees? its an 04 cbr 600 f4i.

Welcome. Not sure to be honest, but I'm betting no you do not need to remove the triple. Download the shop manual in the tech section and take a look though it'll tell you.

Is that the thick plastic that braces the fairing right around the windshield? If so then no, I don't think you do have to remove the triple tree.
