Hello all, my first day here and it's a great site.
Going to look at a 2005 dark red candy F4i Monday with 9000Km's. Any tips on what I might look for? I have a 2003 VFR800A presently, the 600 is meant to replace my GF's Ninja 250 (we all know I'll be takin' that out for a few rides myself).
Oh yeah, shouldn't 600F4i be listed with past models now that there is no 2007??[]

Welcome. Where are you located? Canada, Europe?? The '05 should be a pretty trouble free model (and best colors in my opinion) and I can't think of any model or year-specific problems with them. So other than the standard wear and tearitems, you should be in good shape. As far as the "past models" section, Honda never officially announced whether an '07 would be out, so I think it's just kind of been left in limbo. Butby now, it seemspretty obvious that the '06 was the last year. Good luck with the purchase if you go through with it.

We're in Canada, east coast.
Thanks, love the 2 tone silver too. Looks like we will get it if it's as described, he said he would put new shoes on it too. I'll try for some Diablo Strada's, Z6's or Pilot Road.

Good luck....have fun....pointer, if she is short, she will grow with time....j/k but if she is, she will need to get used to the height of the bike....it took me a while to get used to it, but that is intimidating to some...

Thanks pits why vtec?
We did get the bike and bringing it home Monday, I am planning to lower it 1" front and rear. Angie is 5'9" but the extra weight (versus 300# 250) will be noticeable on her low speed moves like baking up.

I think you should actually let her try and get used to the stock height, instead of lowering it. With the stock rearsets and stock height I don't have great ground clearance, in tight turns my feet rub against the ground. May not be an issue with her though, just thought I would throw it out there. Oh, and wlecome to the forum.
