I noticed from your picture that you have a slight scratch on that little buldge in the fairing on the right side just above the F4i sticker, i have the exact same thing on mine. Paint must be thin there.....

dont waste money on a tinted screen dude just paint your **** black, my boy just painted his suzukis screen and that **** looks ridic, there will probably never be a time when you need to see thru it, even at full tuck your eyes will probably be above it, its much cheaper and looks better, but welcome, this site kicks ***, so do the riders on it[sm=icon_cheers.gif]

You know what, my friend just picked up an 01 CBR600 F4i also (Grey/Black) and he has that same scratch. I don't think it's a factory defect...haha. I was just assuming that the bike may have been laid down by a previous owner and that bulge is the first point of contact to the floor. The TapeWorks Shadow kit, I'm pretty sure will cover part of that, if not all of the scratch up. Doesn't bug me too much though

Modding is always after necessities (raising daughter, money, food, etc). A bike is a bike, and I actually like the all-black look

Thanks for the advice! I'll keep that in mind about the painting of the screen. Not sure how that'll hold up so I'll do some searching around the site. And I'm really enjoying my stay so far. Everyone's so friendly

just wash it good, and paint the INSIDE of it, i made the mistake of painting both sides, just paint the inside with a can of good satin black spray paint, itll be dope and youll save 80 bucks

Congrats on your purchase!

I made sure I had proper gear before I go riding (jacket, helmet, gloves, jeans). Road rash does not look fun
