Hey guys, lots of really nice bikes in here! This is my 2nd CBR, but this one is 3 generations newer :D.
I wanted a white/red one, but I couldn't pass this one up for $2900 (with jacket/helmet!).

13k miles, CCT replaced, Yoshimura carbon fiber TRS exhaust, Yoshimura EMS, new tires, new battery, etc. Did an oil change yesterday, so far I'm super happy with it! I just need to figure out how to adjust the chain so I can tighten it up a bit, I just degreased and scrubbed the chain down, and added fresh lube.

Is there anything I should check on the bike? I just did an oil change/filter, and with it straight up, it's barely above the top line, a few mm. I am assuming that is fine.

Brakes are in pretty good shape, and sprockets look halfway decent, still plenty of life left in them. I think i'm going to trim the license plate plastic piece to shorten up the rectangle underneath the plate.

I was thinking of getting some sliders, but I'm not too stoked on driling holes in the fairings, I just want to protect them encase I fall / drop it.

You have a good looking bike. Its really easy to tighen the chain. U need a stand. Loosen the axel nut, 27mm, and then adjust the screws on the chain by the axel so they both line up to the measurement lines on each side. So your chain is tight, then tighten up the axel bolt.

Get the sliders. Don't be afraid to drill the fairings. Just research, plan, and take your time and it'll come out great. But remember, sliders are for the frame, which is more important than your fairings. Protecting plastics in a minor fall are just a nice side effect.

My other question, what options do we have to wire to the headlight so it "blinks". I've seen a lot of bikes with it, so traffic can see you coming easier / get attention of other cars / etc.

Vortex sliders. You need to order two parts, the bases and pucks. Lots of places have them, Google around for your favorite.

The headlight needs to have an aftermarket part, usually something like a headlight modulator or some other keyword like that. I personally have never looked into them because I think they're stupid. So I'm no help.

i agree with aken vortex makes good slider i also reccomend t-rex racing they are a less expensive slider

Damn that's one good deal. I got mine, same color, with 13,500 for $3,500 with a lot of mods though. Good luck with the drilling haha, mine came with sliders luckily.
