Default New CBR and new crash, need help to fix

So I am new to CBR world, 2001 F4i, I have been into cafe racers. Anyways I hit some water in a turn and rear end broke loose yesterday on turn at 20mph and dumped the bike. Luckily I was wearing all my gear. Only walked away with some serious road rash on my knees, bruised ribs, and broken big toe. I feel lucky and hopefully this is the only incident.

So basically I need some help and suggestions on new fairing, complete set. Also I managed to crack the stator cover. I had sliders on it so that helped but is there anything I should be looking for or keep an eye out as far as damage goes? Thanks for the help.

Wow dude thats some wicked road rash! I layed down my old F4i at 50km/h once there was some pretty serious cosmetic damage and I to cracked the stator cover but there was no other damage. I imagine it would be the same with your bike

Sorry to hear about the wreck.

I was in a similar situation 2 months back and couldnt walk for two weeks. I feel for ya.

My stator cover was totally scratched up as well. I'm pretty sure its a cheap part. Just make sure the gasket is ordered with it. Did your tail cowl get scratched? How about your foot pegs? Depending on the side it went down, you may want to check the rear set. Mine sheared off when i wrecked.

Are you covered under insurance?

I live in Aurora, IL like in Wayne's World. Also I was only wearing jeans on the legs no leathers down there. I was looking over the bike and doesn't look as bad as I remembered. I think I am going to repair them myself and paint em. I have some experience in automotive body repair.

Any pointers with that aspect. Oh and I am feeling much better just sore.

Holy jesus - your knees look rough. I wonder if my Kevlar jeans would hold up better

Anyways glad you and your bike are both relatively ok.

if you want to get back on it fast I would recommend doing a moto gp shift reversal so you can still shift with your broken toe
