So far my plan is the 'double bubble' windscreen, LED undertail, and flush mount turn signals. Not sure if I want to do a slip-on exhaust or not. But first before any of that, I need tires

Yeah I lucked out on that. The guy i bought it from put a nail through the old back tire and replaced it last year. When I bought the bike the rear tire had about 300 miles on it, so i should be good for the rest of this year at least. Depends on how much i ride

I like it alot. hmmm.. perhaps it's because I have just like it... haha. I 've had it for 2 months now, it had 1700 miles and now has 3000. Great bike. I've done a few mods since;

double bubble windscreen
LED signals,
LED tail light
blue rim tape
CNC machined levers
Carbon Yoshimura RS-3
Carbon tail hugger
Carbon ram air vent covers
Targa seat cowl
HID bulbs
Carbon stay bracket

Let me know if you want pics of anything

Nice bike...I have the same bike & scheme. It's my first bike and I have thoroughly enjoyed the experience so far. I would like to do some minor upgrades, but don't plan to dump a lot of dough in the bike, just exhaust and some minor mods.

How did the 500 stack up against the f4i? Just curious because I have a bro who is contemplating 500 vs. 600f4i. It is his first bike...

There are lots of options as far as exhaust for people on a budget. Look for used ones, or go with an ebay ghetto/bootleg one. They look and function just as good as the high dollar ones.
I should know. I am now a certified exhaust expert just from browsing the f4i section on these forums.

Just bought a Scorpion Street Extreme 2 minutes ago. Can't wait for it to get here. $316.95 from indysuperbike.com.

The 500 was a much better starter bike but was still fun to ride. It had much less torque then what the F4i has and not as much high end speed. It was still quick but not to quick that i would get myself in trouble while learning how to ride. I rode it for almost a year and a half and enjoyed it the whole time. If I had to do it all over again I would do it the exact same.
