Why do you want one? They kill your cornering.

The guy in this thread says it was custom welded by a shop.

Have to ask WHY though?

Kiss your wheelies goodbye.... and handling..... and agility, and pretty much everything good about the F4i.

But it's obviously been a known problem, for some time now, that 600's have a really bad habit of the front wheel lifting off the ground all on its own. IMHO extended swingarms only serve 2 purposes. 1) For show. 2) On the drag strip.

you are going to end up paying a ton no matter what. you do that and you will need a new chain, and since you are getting a chain you will need new sprockets because you should never change just one and not the other. all and all you will be spending way too much money for looks, just ride the bike how it is. or if you really wanna look back **** switch it out with a 600rr swing arm, looks way better in my opinion.

You can change a chain without the sprockets and vice versa - it's not a written in stone rule. The reasoning behind it is that chains and sprockets have very similar maintenance time frames. If your chain needs replacing, chances are your sprockets do too. If you're stretching it, or want to change the chain color or some crap like that, it's not 100% essential to change both.

Really bad habit? Wow, I'd recommend you stay away from 1000's then.
