you are going to end up paying a ton no matter what. you do that and you will need a new chain, and since you are getting a chain you will need new sprockets because you should never change just one and not the other. all and all you will be spending way too much money for looks, just ride the bike how it is. or if you really wanna look back **** switch it out with a 600rr swing arm, looks way better in my opinion.

You can change a chain without the sprockets and vice versa - it's not a written in stone rule. The reasoning behind it is that chains and sprockets have very similar maintenance time frames. If your chain needs replacing, chances are your sprockets do too. If you're stretching it, or want to change the chain color or some crap like that, it's not 100% essential to change both.
