It's probably just the way the gears are laying since we have sequential gearboxes. Walking the bike even half a foot forward or back should allow you to drop into first. I typically make sure I'm in first just before I stop anyways, but every so often I decide neutral is necessary at an exceptionally long light

I was wondering about this, too... I noticed it happening to me lately... I was worried my occasional clutchless upshifts were messing with the gears lol... but then again, I use the clutch for 1st and 2nd.

when this happens rock the bike forward then back an inch or two while putting the bike into gear, it should work if that doesn't then slip the clutch out an inch or two then back kinda let it out then in ish you'll get used to it, it happens every so often nothing to get worried over

If you're in say 5th or 6th come to a stop and thentry to go down through the gears it becomes hard to get into first. I learned that the hard way, from now on I go through the gears as I'm coming to a stop.

I have noticed this from time to time. All I do is let the out a little bit why in Neutral and then pull it back in again then it goes in fine.

I have to admit that I've been experiencing a similar problem. I would be at a stop light and in first gear. Then I try to shift into neutral, so that I can rest my hands, but it wouldn't shift. The lever seems sooo stubborn. It wouldn't shift to neutral from first. I tried rolling the bike back and forth, but it didn't work. It didn't happen before either. I would be able to roll the bike and it would click right into neutral, but now it seems like it's more stubborn to shift.
