I GOT AN 01 F4I WITH 6900 MILES THAT IVE HAD FOR A YEAR. I FEEL THAT I MIGHT BE WANTING A BIGGER BIKE SOON AND A FRIEND OF MINE IS BUYING A HAYABUSA AND HE IS GIVING HIS WIFE HIS 99 NINJA ZX9 WITH 8000 MILES. WE TALKED YESTERDAY AND HE BROUGHT TO MY ATTENTION THAT HIS WIFE WOULD BE BETTER OFF WITH A F4I BECAUSE IT LIGHTER AND SMALLER THAN A ZX9, SO HE OFFERED TO DO A STRAIGHT TRADE...WHAT DO YOU GUYS THINK???HERE ARE THE PICS OF THE BIKES, IM NOT SURE IF ITS WORTHIT OR NOT..

No. You don't seem too enthused about it. Plus did you see how green that bike is? uggghh, what were they thinking?

 

Is the ZX carb'd? If so, definitely no. Fuel injection is much less of a headache in all respects. That color is nasty. Your F4i is nice ... You may face higher insurance if your ins company uses displacement.

Well, the Ninja will have more power, but you have a great looking bike. I am not sure that the power difference would be enough for me to make the trade.

I do think is seem like a fair trade though. It really depends on what you want... Good lick with the decision

 

I guess they tried to make it Kawi green... your bike looks a LOT better though. If you're doing this just to feel more power maybe a sprocket change would do it... Someone on here did a -1 +2 and said he could keep up with an R1 till 80mph or so in the straight... unless you're hitting 150 on the track the change shouldnt limit your speed :P I might be tempted into it sometime myself
