There has been alot of debate over tires, and I'm also in need of a new rear tire and I have been thinking about trying the Michelin Pilot Power 2CT because I plan on putting some highway miles on the bike and I don't want to wear down a Pilot Power for no reason, has anyone tried those?

 

dont run 2 different tires, different grip patterns will send you off the road. get 2 new tires with the same grip rating

 

I know, I was planning on getting both if I switch to the 2CTs, but just the rear if I get the same, just hoping someone had some opinions on the 2CTs

 

im runnin two diff. ones on my R6, but thats cause i was runnin pilot powers but notice while i was out for a ride i had a "belt" showin in the middle of the tire, and JMP didnt have any pilots so i bought aDunlop qualifier cost me $206 after install, but my front tire is fine, personally i have felt fine in the twisties, i cant tell a difference really.
When i had my F4i i ran a shinko in the back and a dunlop in the front, shinko DEFINANTLY does not have the traction like Pilot powers or the Qualifiers,but i dont recommend shinko for hard riding, but i guess shinko is fine if you really dontride really agressive,just my 2cents.

 

well i ended up getting another dunlop quilifer for 111.10 plus 25.00 in stall.not a bad deal.

 

thats really cheap, my qualifier alone was 145.99. plus the 45 install
