Need some help with trouble shooting...

The bike started up fine and rand good when I bough the bike about a month or so ago...

Wanting to do some maintenance, and to repair a crack in the upper fairing, I went ahead and took all the fairings off the bike. That was probably 3 weeks ago...

Fast forward to today. I went to start the bike to warm up the oil... And no start

I went ahead and changed out the oil/filter, replaced the coolant, spark plugs, and the air filter, but it still wouldn't start.

So, now I'm wonderin if I may have unintentionally unplugged something as I was removing the fairing... Is this possible? If so, any idea what I should check?

Also, when I turn the ignition switch to the "on" position, should there be some noise from the fuel pump or something? I dont hear any noise... My is a 04, so it's fuel injected.

Any help will be greatly appreciated!!

Thanks dgk,

Unfortunately, I'm not familiar with what the tip over sensor looks like or where it's located... Would you mind pointing me in the right direction?

Thanks much!

You tilt sensor mounts on the headlights, it's a black little pod looking thing that has an arrow saying "^ UP"

Yes, my headlight is hooked up and working. The tip sensor (little black box above and between the head lights?) seems to be plugged in nice and tight... Hmmm, I'm lost...

Not to sound dumb or make you sound dumb but your battery isn't dead is it?

Lol I feel like those tech support guys who ask if you computer is plugged in or not.

Whew, got the bike back up and running!!

Not sure what was wrong, but went ahead and unplugged, cleaned, and reconnected the wire connections and that did the trick!

Thanks folks!
