Default Need some help with a couple of things.

So I just got my bike completely working, and just received the fairing too assemble the whole thing. My problem is at the front of the bike with the wiring harness and everything, I'm not sure where all the wires are supposed to go and cables and where there needs to be zip ties or clips to hold things on? Like if you need to go behind the forks or in front of them. And also any tips to installing the fairing? Just got it from Auctmarts so any help would be great. Thanks guys

It doesnt really matter too much Id just put everything on and tie up the wires wherever they are and just make sure theyre out of the way and so it looks nice and clean. Just dont tie down the brake or clutch cables since they need to move. And leave a little slack in the electrical wires so theyre not getting pulled or ripped out of anything over bumps and stuff. I can post a pic of my dash/gauges/front end if you want?

your best bet would be to look in the service manual. If you don't have one you can download one form the General Tech section. In there it has diagrams of how everything should be routed.

Yeah dub I checked out the manual, and i couldn't figure out how everything was supposed to be routed with the lower fairing stay and the forks and where zip ties were needed? But thanks nick for your help.

Yeah the headlight harness, the main harness, and the clutch cable. Just about everything at the front.

And also would you use zip ties? Or a metal clip around it so they can move about freely and aren't tied down?
