Exclamation Need Quick Help with Rear Caliper/Pad Question

I realize it's a dumb question, and I hate having to ask it, but I've been working all day, just got off not too long ago, and am tired of the bike being down.

I have a general idea of how it's supposed to go in, but if someone could enlighten me on how the pad retainer is supposed to fit around the pads, I would greatly appreciate it.

Here's some pictures (I apologize for the quality, but I'm tired of looking at this crap, haha) -

Thanks in advance,

Kyle

Bump, anyone?

Roomie offered to help tonight, so hopefully we can figure it out.

Only downside is he won't be home until later, so until then, suggestions?

. . . It just. . .goes on. I don't know how else to explain it. I've never had this be a problem, ever, with bike or car. it only goes on one way. You snap on one side. . .and then the other.

Are you sure you're asking the question correctly? Do I not get your problem?

I have a feeling I'm not asking the question properly, haha.

I've never had a problem with it before, either, maybe it was a combination of me being tired as crap, and frustrated, etc.

I hate trying to ask/explain technical stuff online, so I'll try to have another go at it here in a bit, and at the same time, if I run into the same problem, I'll try to reformat my question.

After having a fresh set of eyes and about 2 seconds of not being retarded, we figured it out.

Thanks again.
