Default Need Help... Wicked POed Front Tire problem

Well okay to save some money i took the tires off myself and then took them to my shop to have them changed... well i just got the tires back yesterday and the back one went on really easy with no problems but my front tire wont spin easily.... i am not a mechanic... and i really dont know what the hell is wrong... but i have no patience whatsoever so that probably doesnt help..... if i look at the tire the arrows are going the right way when the tire is on... as far as the spacers go i am almost positive they are on the right way... i tired the tire the other way and it obviously wont work that way.... with the calipers off the tire spins fine.... then when i put the calipers on it spins but its rough... it doesnt spin smooth... i just dont know what the hell is wrong.... i havent been able to ride my motorcycle in like 3 weeks... and it is starting to ruin my life.... also if anyone has a right rearset braket for sale that is reading this... that woudl really really make my day! Thanks for any input or advice...

well did u put the tire on and take it for a ride then try to spin the front tire again?

I doubt its supposed to just spin, thats what the bearing is for to keep it smooth but have some drag. Your probably having brake drag because you haven't pumped the front brake lever and take it for a ride to bring the pads back a bit.

Try that and let me know what happens.

it's supposed to drag the pads mang...it shouldn't spin freely...

at best, hercules can only make it spin 3x. chuck norris will make it spin forever...average joe, around 1.5 to 2 turns.

Okay i will try to do that... i just dont want to mess something up even more by driving it like that... so it loosens up after driving it? I just assumed it would spin freely... but then again "assumption is the mother of all **** ups"

what do you mean tight? it should be torqued to specs, etc...but that wouldn't affect how freely it spins.

you should have brake drag and it should spin about 2x with lotsa force.
