Default Need Help/any advice I can get. ?Fuel issues?

Pleas help me get riding again . I just bought my first bike 02 cbr600f4i 10k miles sat for a while so gas tank was a bit rusty. The guy I got it from said he put a new fuel pump and fuel filter and it turns on and idles great but when you give it gas it Boggs out. It wont die but it wont rev up past like 3-4k rpm. It can idle all day but it just wont revv up like it's getting to much air or not enough fuel. If anyone had any ideas please lmk.
ps I did the spark plugs oil change oil filter and air filter. Right after I did the plugs its revved up really good for a but next day still bogging. I checked fuel pressure regulator vacuum hose but no gas was dripping so I'm kinda stuck. I have a video of the problem on YouTube titled Crazy Cheap Cbr600
Thanks for help

Sounds like the fuel pressure regulator or a vacuum leak somewhere, I know from the video that have ordered the FPR, whilst waiting for that check all the hoses.
Take care and hope the freeze has started to thaw out
Cheers

So I ended up not ordering the fuel pressure regulator because they say you can check it by pulling the vacuum line and check to see if gas comes out while pump is priming. Tried it and no leak. Could it still be? Is worth it just to do it since it's not expensive or hard?

Well it seems that the idea is to have the correct fuel pressure. The only way to know that is to measure it. Just because it doesn't leak doesn't mean it's right. Low pressure can support low RPMs but not the higher ones.

Injectors could be plugged up.

Default Goona try it out

So I'm gonna just order the fuel pressure regulator since it's not to much and I'll post the update once i install. Are fuel injectors cleaners worth a try or just pull em?

Personally, I think fuel cleaners are snake oil. If you want to replace the fpr and try a can of cleaner, it's worth a try as they are not expensive. If you still have problems, the next thing to look at is the injectors.

For me, I'm always up for purchasing a new tool. Having a fuel pressure gauge in the tool box is a worthy investment in my book. Not that I need any real reason to buy a new tool. LOL

Good luck and let us know how it goes!

Also, watch that rear tire! It's looking close to toasted!
