In need of Chain/Sprocket
 

So my bike is making noises when I go ride off in 1st gear, and a little in second. Sounds pretty damn nasty. I checked out the sprocket and it does need to be replaced soon. However, the chain is what I'm most concerned about. It's already stretched enough to where it's actually marked "replace chain". So, I was looking for the best deals, and I remember someone referring this site, and want to make sure everything is legit.

Rear 46/ Front 16, right? So I'm definitely going 1 down, 2 up for the 520 conversion. Any tips, or advice is appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I know someone must have some recommendations, or advice regarding this matter. Anything to avoid? People with personal experience, feedback would be nice.

That's one sweet deal there Buddy, all good quality product imo, for me though I'm
a rivet master link kinda Guy , not big on clip master links. Only thing to remember
too is alum' rear sprockets wear x2 as fast

Advice. Stick with the 525 kit. Unless you are tryin to gain 2 tenths of a second on your track time, the 520 kit is useless. The 525 chain is way stronger than its 520 equivalent, thus increasing life span. You may also wanna try to find steel sprockets too.

Skoobydoobie: People say it's the best bang for the buck though, as far as performance goes for our bikes. If there is a noticeable difference, then I'm definitely looking to go that route. I know my brother had a 636 with a quick accel kit, and it was pretty nice.

He's in Korea though serving in the army, so it's difficult to get advice from him right now.

it doesnt help performance tho, u can change gearing with a 525 chain and still get the same results as the quick accel quick. its just a gear ratio change. the only real difference, unless u r drag racing, is price, 520 is cheap, but it doesnt last near as long. u can get a strong 520 chain too if u want, but the same chain in 525 is much stronger.

Thanks for clarifying that bro... Something to remember too, just cause they use it on the track doesn't mean it's "better" on the street. (not just for bikes). Racers change out their consumables (i.e. brake pads, tires, sprockets, chains, clutches, ect.) far more often than us street riders, sometimes only getting a few laps on 'em before swappin out for a new. And I sure don't wanna replace sht every season ('cept oil). Just go to website where your gonna buy your sht and compare the tensile strength between the 520 and 525 chain (same brand, model, ect., compare apples to apples)
