TBH idk why I did it. Half the photos of it online have clear as day shots of the plate. Not like it matters since seeing my plate online is no different than seeing it out in public :P I never do it but for some reason felt the need to this time.

 

yeah, never really understood why people blurred it out. Its not like it private information.

 

People usually remove it a few ways for one reason. On forums such as this, thieves lurk. If they find out where a bike they know intimate details about is, they go there. Where as on the street, they only see a random bike, maybe get the plate, and then find out where it is, while knowing nothing about it. It is just for making it a little less easy, and a little less attractive to those that would try to take it from those of us who are unarmed. If anyone here actually is that has a bike worth taking lol.
