Default My new stand - K&L MC45

Anyone heard of the brand K&L? I haven't, but I just bought their swingarm stand at my local shop. They just got them in, and it was $130 for the rear. The top of each leg spins to accomodate spools or swingarm applications. My favorite part of the setup is that the handle comes out so you can walk around the back without tripping or slamming your shins, haha. I just wanted a stand for my baby to spend the winter in the basement, and this one was cheaper than the pitbull(plus the handle comes off). So I bought the K&L. I like it, and from a storage aspect, I think it will do just fine. Let me know what you think...

K&Lhas been sellingshop supplies and tools to dealers for decades.

The stand looks alot like a Pit Bull finishon a regular Vortex stand. It even has a Vortex sticker. The Vortex stands normally have a wrinkled black powdercoat. Thats the only difference I see.

Should be good quality.

Haha, I put the stickers on it because it looked sort of naked when I got it. And as far as the metal color, side by side in the shop they look about the same. The Pit Bull is just a little bit prettier because of the red rubber pads and stuff, until the addition of some strategically placed graphics. I knew about the shop supplies because I saw their website before I bought it, but I couldn't find anyone that has one to give an opinion of it. Seems solid enough, especially since I'll be using it primarily for storage.

Yeah, it looks a bit different than the Vortex. You can definitely see their influence however.
