My new to me 01 F4i!
I had an 02 F4i that I loved and a rod went to knocking, so I put it on the back burner. I stumbled across another one close to me and I couldn't pass it up.
The day I picked it up
I stole this bike! It has 1628 miles on it, yes I typed that right, and I paid $1800 for it.
This is it now after I swapped some stuff out from my old bike.
Just wanted to brag about my find!!!

Yea I don't believe that bike has rolled past 99k miles low mileage F4i's are a easy finds around here as most places.
I had a 02' red/silver with 5k miles on it and it was nowhere near stock....most people don't put a ton *** miles before starting to mod....but they probably should. However, most people will start putting exhausts, under tail kits, hids right away....besides it looked stock (other than paint) in the pick where he says " the day i picked it up"
This is especially true with newer riders who want the bike for the sound and look, they get on it and get the shiznit scared out of them once and never get on it again.....then sale it.
It may have had damage to the fairings but I also see plenty of people just don't like the paint scheme of a bike they bought. I have done it, bought a bike without liking the color but knowing I could talk them down enough to cover a new paint job.
Either way if it runs good then that was a STEAL, looking for a new bike myself right now. In that condition it would sale for 4k around here easily. Good looking bike, I would have scooped it up as well even if I already had a running bike in the garage.

I'll echo everyone's comments...I got my 2002 F4i with 19k for about $3500...some aftermarket stuff but not that much, but that is really pretty!
In regards to the odometer, did the 01 models have a normal odometer or a digital one as the 02 model has? I couldn't imagine my digital one would "roll back to zero" like mentioned before.
Anyway, nice grab
