My guess is she's pissed off
My guess is this girl either caught her husband/bf cheating or she got the bike in the divorce. $2500 for an 07 R1 with 700 miles on it? C'mon
I keep seeing these ridiculous deals here in AZ...its crazy
Like honestly if it wasent such a hassle I would go pick it up 2nt and flip it.

Hey dont speak to my noobiness like that No I mean I understand if something is too good to be true then it is, but do people actually EVER get paid on these scams? Like who seriously sends money to a stranger for a motorcycle?

I don't think ALL of those are scams. I feel it's worth a shot to call if they leave a number. Block your number or call with a pay phone if you're paranoid. Sometimes they may respond and allow you to see the bike. Those are the rare steal deals. Usually husband went to Iraq, won in the divorce, or inherited after death, etc.

I once found a "great deal" on craigslist about 2 years ago. Something like a 2008 R6 with no miles for 3000$. too good to be true. I emailed the guy and he said "i already listed it on ebay and here is the link" which looked exactly like and ebay listing...
something like http://sales.ebay.ebaymotors.yadayadayada.
The first red flag was that i couldnt add the auction to "my ebay" watchlist, it would just give me some weird error, nor could i search for it by item number. So i clicked on the link on the ebay page that said "Report a Fraud on Ebay" and wrote a letter to ebay saying how i think this guys is trying to scam a bike on ebay.
5 mins later i get an email from the guy bitching me out saying lots of very bad words lol. Turns out the "report a fraud" button sent my fraud message directly to him!.... the wise guy had completly mocked up a fake ebay webpage and a fake "report a fraud" page to look identical to ebay.
tricky scammers.....
I then went to the REAL ebay "report fraud" link and reported him (again lol), his fake page was removed in 30 mins...
But i did find my lovely F4i on ebay (about 20 miles away) and test rode it IN PERSON. the rest is history.
