I rode the last couple weeks between Phoenix and Mesa (round trip about 1.5 hours) with jeans on AND a jacket AND a helmet and I survived. If its too hot for gear....its too hot to ride, especially in Phoenix where these drivers don't pay attention for S***!!

Shoot haha sorry I didn't respond to your post faster. About snake skin/high fusion...haha your assumption is correct on high fusion kind of like the skate grips. I wouldn't recommend them with shorts lol but since you already ordered them...I have the snake skin and they look/feel great on bare skin, though I don't normally ride with shorts, not in CA traffic at least!

The guy at techspec said I should be fine. The snake skin is MUCH thicker than the high fusion. defference is .125 to .035
