This is true. But even a salvaged 848 still runs you around 8k.

Thats insane money to me. And goes to show how new i am in the bike scene, because when you say 848 i havent a clue what you're talking about haha

LOL...he means a Ducati 848...Google it...Very nice bike...good luck with your build..Make sure you check for rocks and crap that may have got into the bottom end of the motor...If stator and clutch covers are broken...crap probably got in there...Just a reminder...Cheers..!

Definately will do! Already had to patch a hole in the upper case right where the two halves bolt together.

Do any of you guys know how i can rig the headlight and tip sensor wiring so i can hear this thing run? Itll be a few weeks before i can get a headlight and i just want to hear it run so i'll have a piece of mind about this whole project.

yeah, just splice the red and green wires together-the outside 2 of the 3 going to the tip sensor, im not 100% on the colors, u dont need the headlight, just that splice

Thats what i was thinking. I just couldnt find a wiring diagram anywhere.
