sounds like you could have a electrical gremlin.... this could be why your lights are dim. I would check all the wiring in the rear cowl and make sure there isnt a loose wire or a phantom clip not tight (if used). If your turn signals still work properly who cares lol

As for the mirrors i got a cheap ebay mirror when my bike tipped over and looks fine.

Well the turn signals work but it seems like the rear brake lights are so dim u can barely notice them working (very scary since i'm going to be on highways quite a lot)

I have 3 wires on each light hooked up, and 1 of them are cut. It has no license plate light either, orange and blue connectors have 2 wires coming out of it spliced into 1 and going into each tail light, then theres 2 wires (left and right, 2 each) going into the factory harness thats cut.

I wish i had someone closer to take a look, i'm a mechanic full time but for cars. This is a bit different and its aftermarket haha

No idea came with the bike. Under the gas tank (in that harness) i did find the top of the connector melted (doesnt seem to be thru) and one open wire.

When i get a chance to bring it into the shop (gotta get a plate hopefully mid august) ill take the tank off and see if there properly tied down somewhere.
