Default My F4i makeover :) - Picture Intensive

Hello guys!

Like I said in my first post ever, im a lurker. If i need to find out information on something I use the search button. However, this is something I need to share with the forum to get some feedback and suggestions for future mods.

I bought my F4i about a year ago, for $2200. It wasnt in the best of shape and I had a friend ride it home for me. Here's that day:

Also on that SAME day, I made the mistake of letting my father sit on the bike. Less than two hours after arriving at its new home, my new bike had some battle scars :

So i decided to give it a make-over. Ordered a set from motorcyclefairingsrus.com then played the waiting game. It was about 3 weeks for me.

When they arrived the box looked to be in near perfect condition. I had read other reviews saying the box was damaged or looked kinda rough. Not the case for me

I opened the box to find that the fairings were wrapped individually and they were very secure.

Also on the reviews I read that very little heat wrap was provided. I was given a fair amount : P

I unwrapped everything to find a FLAWLESS paint job. Honestly, I was blown away. Every fairing had a perfect shine.

My two cents on these fairings is that they are absolutely flawless. Heatshield and tinted windscreen was also included. I bought a fairing bolt kit from bikebolts.com and i was disappointed with those but nothing I bought from steven at motorcyclefairingsrus.com. I would easily buy from them again and recommend them to anyone in the market for a set of fairings.

Nice job. Amazing what a new paint or a new set of plastics can do for a bike.

Clean bro! It really makes hella difference. I ordered from the same company, matte black though. My box was a bit beat up, but the fairings were individually wrapped. I guess just was unlucky, but I am going to work with them to see what I can get back from em. But your bike looks great now man!

Looks great. I used to have that color scheme on mine but decided to do something a bit different. I may get a new paint job before too long. I like to switch it up every now and then. Kudos to you sir cuz that bike looks like a brand new machine.

Looks a lot better than it did. Don't let you dad sit on it now. What year is it? I can't tell if it is a 04-06 with a split seat conversion done or a 01-03 with a polished frame. Also why were you disappointed with bikebolts.com. I ordered a kit from them for my old F4i and I was happy with it.

Very nice sir! Do you know if you can order individual pieces from that company? I need just the upper fairings for a swap I'm doing but its hard to fins even a damaged one lately. I would check their site myself but work has the site blocked for some reason .
