He was using the circular diamond plated cutter attached to a dremel. I'll take some pics when I get home.

It only took me 2 dime sized normal cutting disk that come in big multi stacks on my dremel to take my stock chain off, and thats because I snapped the first one. I think you should take over dremel work

If he pulls on the end of the chain it will rotate the crankshaft clockwise. Worse case scenario is that he'd have to loosen a few engine hanging bolts to get some clearance and then the chain should come off the teeth by hand...or by large leverage bolt cutter.

Screw the dremmel, put a die grinder on it. The job will be done in less than 5 min. Thats hardened steel and will eat up your"diamond" cutter. Die grinder.

Wooohooo!!! The chain is off!!! I ditched the cutter and just busted out the drill and started drilling out the rivets on each link (took a lot of effort) but it got the job done! I also checked the kick stand sensor, which was mashed up, but surprisingly undamaged when I opened it up. So that wasn't the problem. Whatever the problem was, my bike now starts up again perfectly!

DID makes one of the best chains out there. RK used to be great but now average at best. And Vortex makes some great stuff but their sprockets do not last nearly as long as AFAM. Do a little research and you will see what I mean. Especially if your running high preformance bikes.
