My bike sat for two days and now this?!?
I left to go to a friends house for the weekend, left the bike in his garage, and didn't ride it for two and a half days. I get on it tonight, and start braking, and my back end seems to wobble. Not much, but enough to have to let off the brake. Now, I figured I wasn't using the back brake well, so next stop i only used the front, and it happened again. I think the tire's wearing down, and just doesn't have traction? What do you guys think? (FYI, the back brake is working fine)

Don't forget to check your tire pressure. The manual says 42 for the rear, 36 for the front. My tires "looked" fine, and felt strong when I touched them, but when I bought my bike, the rear tire was like 29 PSI and the front was like 20!
A stop at the gas station worked wonders. |
All right, thanks^. Didn't even think about that.

Sounds like a rear tire pressure issue to me also. When I caught a nail in my rear tire the other night, my bike did the same thing with the wobbles. I pulled over in a parking lot to try to figure out what was goin on, and what do you know, rear tire was very low on air. When I say very low, I mean FLAT!

a good street tire pressure is between 34 to 36 psi both front and rear
