So today i lucked out an came across a nice laid down 02 f4i with 14k miles for $1000. it needs a new upper fairing stay front brake caliper and front rim and ill prolly order some new ebay fairings. it came with extra fairings and undertail that were the seven star ones but they decided to sand them down and attempt to pant them. he also put a new m4 exhaust and a chrome cbr stator covor on it b4 he dumped it! it runs even smoother than my other 02 f4i im thinkin of sellin my telefonica f4i and just keepin this one it has half the miles! i love projects like this and am pumped for parts to start flowin in lol

after a day of buying and selling on ebay, i have all parts ordered to complete my project rebuild for a grand total of 1700 invested (includes buying bike)

for about 700 in parts ill have her back on the road lookin like new

unfortunatly a windy storm came through and ripped my cover off it while i was on my way back from chicago with the other bike. i was pissed to get home and see snow piled up on it!

 

Apparently not too pissed, because you left the snow on there! Already treating it like a step child, since you got the new baby!

 

lol you are correct on the step child, more like an orphan cuz shes up for adoption and ive only had it for 2 months.

Ya its toast...the guy i got it from was inexperienced and dumped it doing a burn out when it popped. Thats why I got it cheap and he gave ma a 3/4 tread bridgestone battleaxe to put on it.
