It has a 04+ silver frame with a split seat conversion. The tail subframe is black like the frame of a 01 would be. I also have never seen a factory Rossi replica.

Beat me to it, I was going to say the frames don't match so it's most likely a split seat conversion. Never heard of the "Rossi Replica" Edition of a F4i either in 2001. Looks and sounds fishy.

IMO, the fairings don't look that good anyways. The yellow, white and blue clash so much

It's a wrecked bike with a fairing kit, and new set of gauges. You can get gauges on ebay to basically make your bike say whatever you want for mileage. The silver frame with the black subframe tells me someone has cobbled this together from many different bikes and has done some jacking around with the title.

Edit: notice how the blue doesn't match from the fairing to the gastank? that confirms this is not a factory sticker kit, but aftermarket fairings with a half a$$ed painted tank.

A quick Google search shows a lot of results, and all pictures look the same. Keep in mind this is (more than likely) a European version - doesn't necessarily need to follow the same formats as US versions (like the black vs. silver frame, etc.).

I think it's legit, it's a euro bike and they are a little different (frame and seat sometimes) than the one's in the states.

EDIT: Aken beat me to it.

Its an ugly color, the dude isen't actually a rider, he thought he would be making money off a collectable, or he's like most ferrari/lamborghini owners who own the thing for 5yrs and put a thousand or two miles on the vehicle.
