Motrax Indy Spacers on a '01 f4i

Alright guys, here's my problem.

Got Motrax short stalks and have the indy spacers, but the spacers don't line up with the holes on the cowl and aren't flush in the w/ the cowl. The spacers come out like 1/8-1/4 inch

I am sure some of you guys may have run into this problem.

I am thinking about doing a couple things

-Sand the indy spacer and the holes on the cowl to where there is one big hole and sand down the front so it fits flush

-Buy a different spacer

Let me know what you guys think or have done

Yeah, I had the same problem. I ended up making my own out of my inbox from work! I just traced out the shape, cut it out, sanded the edges, drilled the holes in the right place and then mounted them up. It took like 30 minutes or so. I ended up doing this after going through a month of trying 6 different brands that didn't work. Good luck with that.

As I said via e-mail...

My lights are made by Lockhart & they line up perfect. The spacers were just fine...you may want to buy a different spacer b/c it's not worth the hassle of sanding plastic that costs 3 bucks at the store...[8D]
