I've got an 01 f4i and going to install a mototeck innovations undertail.....who's dealt with the wiring on this and did you soldier the wiring??

I put a different undertail on my bike, but the process should be the same. Unlike on most cars, the black wire is the power on these, and if my memory serves me correctly the green is the ground. Getting a dvom on the wires is pretty useful. I didn't solder mine, i added spade connectors and heat shrunk them on so i could pull the undertail off if needbe.
