Mobil 1 10w-40 High Milage oil ok?
Hi everyone i just changed the oil on my bike, i been hearing good things of Mobil1 10w-40. But when i went there all they had was 10w-40 High Milage Fully Synthetic. Was wondering if that was ok to use in bike. I got about 16,500miles on my bike. I already put it in just wanted to know if its ok to use. Thx in advance 8)

Not sure it its gonna be the best choice. Were supposed to use *wet clutch* oil that doesnt include special additives for regular cars and stuff. I use regular GN-4 Honda oil in my F4i cause of the low miles, as for my F3, I use full synthetic AMSoil Motorcyle oil.

I was wanting to use AMsoil and this Mobil 1 4xT or w/e its spelled. But i didnt see it, maybe i was checking at the wrong store. I went to autozone to get that mobile one. Any places in mind i would find better motorcycle oil? I heard mobil 1 10w-40 was ok to use so thats why i got this.

So to answer the original question... yes, is is perfectly fine to use the oil that you do. I'm getting ready to change mine with the same here soon

I've been using the Mobil 1 10w-40 and 15w-50 since my bike had 5000 miles on it.... now at 140,000 and still running perfect

Autozone, Kragen, Checkers, the like, rarely seem to carry good MC lubes around these parts. Better off checking at a dedicated MC shop somewhere. Amsoil is the absolute shizzle. But Repsol, Honda formulas, etc, they're all high quality synthetics as well.
