Michelin Pilot Power vs Michelin Pilot Road 2

Guys I ride up in New England, so we're talking 60% twisties and 40% hwy riding. Roads wet prolly 40% of the time. I can't decide going with Pilot Powers for the rear or Pilot Road 2. I absolutely do not do any track...just mostly long stretches of riding on the F4i :icon_wink:

I have brand new Michelin 2CT on the front but I don't know what to go with the rear. Question is what mileage has everyone been getting with Pilot Road 2 and Pilot Powers on the rear. I'm trying to find a good mix between longevity and handling...but I'm more leaning towards longevity, lemme know your thoughts on these 2 tires for the rear.

i love my pp rear, i think it sticks great, i really have not felt a tire i like better, but i will say doing straight up and down on the highway-its wearing way faster than i thought. my front is showing like no wear at all tho.
overall i like the tire, and they r a good price at my dealer here right now

if you mainly just commute get the Roads. If you mainly ride the Mtns n like railing em, get the PP's. I love my 2CTs :)

Unless you frequently visit the track then PP's are a complete waste of money. The PR2's have the same grip on the sides for the twisties with a harder center to last on the highway/commuter miles. It's a no brainer for me... PR2's.

Informative on only one of the tires in question...

W/ your 60/40% twisty/hwy + 40% wet & no track, I'd recommend the PR's.

Came out last month. Better rain handling, lighter. One up from 2CT.
