made custom LED passenger pegs
Photos don't do them justice, but they're INSANELY bright when you're directly behind them. When I say bright I mean: they may cause road-rage, or get me pulled over by the police. Like headlights facing backwards LOL. They're fairly blinding when the bright setting "turn signal wire" kicks in. But hey, I'll be seen from behind.
**If you're not on my *** and not looking straight into the LEDs head-on then they're just bright but not insane. When viewed from an angle they're not nearly as bright.
What I did was I ordered 2 knight riderz bars from CustomDynamics and removed the boards from the housings, then put aquarium silicone on the exposed electronics, then plastidipped the whole boards. I then peeled the plastidip off of the leds and tucked them up into the pegs with super-glue. Then I took steel-reinforced JB weld and filled the passenger peg as best I could to reinforce everything since the superglue was just a temporary hold. So far I'm happy with the results. Pretty simple really. Up close they look a little rough when they're turned off. From a distance they look fine and with the LEDs turned on you can't see the boards at all.
The bar at the top of the license plate is the same thing but still in the housing on bright. the pegs are on dim in this photo.

Mine are built into a PCM board so I just tucked as much as I could into the peg and the LEDs sit flush against the edge. I wanted to drill mine in but I need to learn how to wire led strings first. Do you know how?

I didn't do mine but you should be able to get them to work by connecting the positive of one to the negative of the other and so on. They do have to be done so the polarity is correct since an LED will not work if wired reversed. If I remember right and you buy 2v lights and hook six of them together they should not burn out due to too much power.
It has been a while since I have really messed with them.
