Lower clip-ons - post your solutions!

I know this has been covered but just looking for pics and ideas of what others have done to get the clip-ons lower.

I use this bike for the track and street, and I honestly wouldn't mind spending money on adjustable clip ons even if they only worked for the track. Still a solution that would allow me to have enough steering to make u turns on the street would be nice so I don't have to switch back and forth. I also don't mind removing the air covers or grinding into the fairing/stay if I have to.

Ideas???

Enjoy the bike as is? Bars have never been a problem on the track.

Just a comfort issue really. With the pegs in the stock position, the bars feel great. With the pegs up and back, the bike feels too cramped.

I am willing to bet that lower/more forward bars would alleviate the problem by rotating my body a little bit more forward. On top of that there's the slight advantage in leverage.

That being said if there's no solution, it's not a big deal. I'll take the bike for what it is, but a lot of little things have already made a huge difference, so why stop now? I don't think I'm being unreasonable with this goal.

There are a lot of solutions for going up, it's a little unusual to drop them more. But,
if that's what works for you, you might check out the Heli-bars or similar with just a
reverse twist to the mount. Another option is find a set of used at the local wrecking
yard. Something in the right diameter for your tubes that mounts below the top tripple.
That will give you some room to slide up and down to find that perfect fit.
My local, Ron's Cycleland, will sell me a set for about $50 and then let me swap them
out, till I find the ones that work for me.

Your not be un-reasonable no. Unfortuneatly I don't know of any ways to go down only up.

I know people have accomplished this but I'm also pretty sure it requires removal of the ram air covers and possibly grinding into the fairing/stay.
