low side starting the bike again......wierd
so i low sided it about 2 months back and never got around to asking this question......before the wreck i used to be able to start the bike with the switch on, kick stand up, while it was in 1st and i had the clutch in. but ever since the lay down i can ONLY start the bike when its in neutral....any idea of why or what to do to fix this? its not a major issue because i can still start it and ride it, but its annoying. any help would be appreciated

If it was the side stand switch you wouldn't have been able to ride it. I believe there's also a clutch switch - that might be messed up. Check around the lever and also above the crankcase where the clutch cable ends... (I don't remember where the switch is exactly). It might be a loose wire e.g. my horn cable had come undone after I lowsided, or the switch itself.
