Lost Keys no spare

Default Lost Keys no spare

so ive called places and the honda dealership (which dont do motorcycle keys) i almost unibombed them bc the lady is a Big Fat B$@&# who doesnt know s@&^ abt anything

locksmiths 150 to 225

any suggestions ppl

Try looking on the ignition cylinder ... there should be a number on it somewhere that identifies the key code for that particular ignition .... try calling the honda shop back and talking to somebody whose head isn't squarely up their *** ... they might can order one for you ... they should be able to do this, the one here does ... idk why they'd told you they don't :\ ...

My next suggestion would be to look into the locksmith making you a copy from scratch ..

If all else fails, might have to look into a new ignition switch and key combo dude :\ (which would mean a new gas cap and trunk lock tumbler to match) ..

ill look into the key code before i call more locksmiths thanks

The HISS system will require a new Ignition.

i think you can recode a new key to the HISS system ... You shouldn't have to buy an entirely new system ...

I took out the ignition cylinder and they looked up the number cut the key on the spot. depending on the year the blank key may have to be ordered

I'm not sure if the US spec bikes have the HISS system.
If they do and you lost the only key... you're royally screwed.

You can recode a new key by yourself BUT you need at least one working key to do that. If not, the only way is a new ECU...

If you do not have HISS it's just a matter of going the 2 options you already know about: Locksmith or Honda
