So i'm moving to a house without a garage. For the first time my bike will be staying outside. I've seen a pretty cool product on www.cycleshelter.com and am probably gonna get it. I was just wondering if anyone knows of a similar product to compare it to.

If not I'll get that one but i was hoping to save a few bucks if i could. Any ideas welcome.

I'd say that'd be a pretty good investment if it will be outside consistantly. However I'd be worried about someone moving or stealing the cover, or driving over it with their car when it's flat on the ground, etc. Also the security isn't very, um, secure, as anyone with a sharp knife could get at your bike.

So, IMO, great for protection from the elements and from hiding your flashy bike, but bad for keeping it from being stolen.

 

What i would do is go to Home Depot and get a shed. You can get them under 1000 bucks.. That would alot better any cover anytime. The link you have there, I looked at. Don't look very safe to me.

 

i'm not as worried about security from the cover....moreso just protection from the elements. I'm gonna be keeping the cycleshelter and bike in the back yard with my roomates 2 pitbulls
