Ok. here is the problem. I been avioding this **** for atleast 2 months but I have a small leakage from the alternator side. I went to a local bikeshop and he told me excalty what I was thinking, that Im leaking small drops of oil from the alternator. He told me that it probably the gasket. Then he said its only a dealer part.
Anyone ever have this issue. Im not leaking a gallon per ride, just a drop or three.
Also, can someone comfirm that the alternator is cover with oil or next to the oil.

try tightning the bolts if still leaks you will need to change the gasket on your next oil change

ya the alternator does have some oil

 

Any oil leak is a problem. The cover is filled with oil. If it was dropped/crashed the cover probably has a stress leak. You may even just need to re-seal it. It's an easy fix.

 

Yea, thats probably the case. I havent really looked at the bolts yet to see if they are tight. I guess thats my starting point!

 

I knew it, it had to be the worse possible case. Dam alternator cover was cracked. Problem fixed, money lost. (i hate bikes)
