Default lights wont turn on

whats up guys. ive had this problem and i cant figure it out so im turning to yall. my headlights arent turning on, and my highs dont flip on either. but the weird thing is my audi strips that are tied into the lights work...... my buddy has a f4i. so i took the oppertunity and stole his front cowl. and hooked it up to mine and with no luck the lights didnt work. fuses are fine. n im going to take it that my relays are fine too since HIS didnt work on mine either.

There's probably a tutorial around here on how to fix it, i'm not sure. It's a pretty simple fix as long as you can solder. It's a wire(s) in the on/off switch that comes loose in the F4i's (pretty common problem). You just have to take that switch apart and re-solder the wire. Had to fix mine twice so far, hopefully the last soldering will hold up better.

When I say the on/off switch, i'm talking about the switch on the right side handle bar where the emergency on/off switch is, not the high/low beam switch.

I say the starter button too.
Pull it back toward you a bit and see if the lights work.
