Very nice, where did you get the new fairings? I presume that you had the tank painted as well?

Got them from NT Fairings, they came with a tank cover so it was a win win!

How does the tank cover fit? Is it lined on the inside so it doesn't scratch the paint on the tank? Mind posting a few pics to show how it fits (especially from a top down view by the filler)?

Thanks!

It’s fits pretty good, it does not cover the lower edge of the tank, but I wrapped that edge in black vinyl so it doesn’t stick out since my bike is red. No insulation on the inside of the cover but I just laid wrap down to along with 3M double side tape to help scratching and marring. Hope this helps!

Default Back on the road 🤣

Hi guys, new on here, just joined and this is my first bike in 30 years. CBR 600 f4i only had it a week, I absolutely love it, haven’t they changed 🤣

My first F4i back in 2007-08, completely stock

Track bike day one. Completely rusted tank, owner attempted to paint it, missing parts…but it came with a nice devil shotgun 😏

Current state of track bike. Having a hard time finding a lower and this one was cheap! Obviously needs paint and im cutting the can down to 6-8” etc etc. 47000kms

Parts bike. Its like a blond in a bar at 3am after a few beer…

Nice work and props for reviving the F4i! Spite (on YT) is restoring one that looks like the one I had and has me yearning a bit! I don't miss messing with those fairings though...

It's weird (to me, anyway) that when I was first looking at a "big" bike about 5 years ago, F4i's, CBR1000's, and 636's were seemingly everywhere. I rarely see 'em for sale or on the road these days.

Very nice! Really like the flow of the seat, complements the rest of the bike!
