Before anybody flames me about being more of a fashion rider than a true rider, I do bang the turns, I do hit up the twisties. However, I am still young, but not stupid enough to do reckless things. I won't even stunt even though all my friends do. I'm the type to have fun on the turns while being safe and also in it to impress the girls. yep.

I used to be into cars, and I had underglow's underneath my car and yes all the ladies loved it.

Was thinking bout doing it to my 01 f4i and was wondering where the best sites are to buy these kits. Also, where the best locations are to put these LED's to make a nice glow to the bike.

Anybody got good pictures?

 

Street FX makes some real nice lights called ElectroPods, they are about $20 for two and $80 for six and two light bars in various colors. They mount with an adhesive backing. You can really mount them where ever you want just keep away from the heat as much as possible. LordJersey did it to his 929 and looks pretty good.

 

I used these http://varad.com/productsl210.html They are for Car tire/suspension lighting so they can take some beating..But Varad does make very good quality lighting i suggest them.... and hooked with the alarm looks cool..

I have 7 neon lights on my Honda Magna and they look really good to me IMHO! Something you can look into is a set of Cold Cathode lights. These are just as bright if not brighter than neons and are alot cheaper. I used to have them in the floor boards of my old car.Just something to think about.

we sell the electropods at our shop, they are cheap and durable not to mention bright as hell. They come in purple, red, green, orange, and blue. They just need a 12V power souce, I usually wire them on friends bikes to a toggle so they aren't constantly on. I don't run them, I'm not into the flashy looking bikes but i have to admit they do look awesome.

 

Whatever you do, just remember blue and green are reserved for fire/police, so you could get pulled over. Even red pointing forward is not cool with them... only amber/yellow. Dont know if these laws vary by state (US).
