LED Vent Turn Signals
 

I did this today cuz i kicked off my cheap chinese signal mirrors cuz they pissed me off so much. Stock mirrors and LED vents with flush mounts will do. They are pretty visible at all angles even in full sunlight.

Nice, I think you used the same side emitting LED strips as I did.

Certainly did. 5th Car parts store i looked in had them in amber lol

Nice i did something similar, because when i installed the hot bodies turn signals they really don't have any forward view. So i bought the little LED strips and zip tied them to the vents.

Nice, looks good. ive been wanting to do this for a while, did you just splice the wires into the ones for your flushmounts?

CrankyHippo where did you get those led strips from? I have been looking for something like that for awhile

I bought the 15 LED flexible strip from Radiantz.com I just spliced the wires in to the existing turn signal wires from the hot bodies signals and it works great. The LEDs are pretty bright for their size and the 15 LED ones fit perfect in the vents.

When I did mine I just spliced them into the flushmounts and did the diode trick for the LED's so they are running/turn and the flushmounts are just turn signals.
