Kick-Stand sludge on my 06 F4i

Can anybody tell me from where and what this nasty black sludge is that appears to be leaking from under my kickstand. Its leaving nice build up on my fairing around that locale. I clean the same amount off everytime I clean the bike. Suggestions?

definatly nothing to be concerned about, the overflow hose from gas tank should be hanging there as well.....so it could be a number of things.

yea, my bike has it, and every bike I seen that is really rode gets that way. Just clean it.

One of the hoses there is a vent tube for the crankcase... probably from that.

I get it too. Its a machine, it will get dirty and you will have to clean it.

Its wear the chain lube builds up and happens to drop off at.

I clean mine enough that it doesnt have a chance to build up like it did when new.

Yeah. Most definately chain grease. You're putting too much on the chain. Soon you'll need to clean the inner sprocket compartment by the kickstand because it will get real nasty soon.
