Default Keep rear lowering link? Previous owner installed.

My bike has a rear lowering link installed by the previous owner Link style here. The setting is at it's highest point which is the factory height, which is what I want. My question is should I install the standard factory plate? Are these aftermarket ones subpar or unsafe. I am trying to get the bike completely back to stock, this is the only "aftermarket" part I have on it. Any advice is appreciated.

I wouldn't say they are unsafe my 03 f4i came with an aftermarket lowering link in the rear and i have ridden almost 9k. The only issue i have with it is i don't think mine goes back to the stock height and seems about a half inch low in the rear and can be a bit of a rough ride when i hit big bumps in the road.
