Hehe, yeah for sure!! I'm gunna tell him to take it off before I get there. Then I'm going to get a fender eliminator and some flush mount turn signals, Dark tinted screen and a few other little tweeks as well..

I think most modern motorbikes and even some older ones, are highly over powered machines for common (Legal) street use.
And like someone mentioned earlier, both motorbikes will be plenty fast, the only real and defining difference will be style, and which you will like more. Just my 2 pennies and opinion.
If you plan to do some simple commuting or weekend riding, or even the odd once in a while track day, you'll be fine with either motorbike, more than enough "power" for any of the mentioned above activities.
